During October Mountain View Road will have construction traffic and delays.  Please have patience. 

The roads of the Maggie Valley Country Club Property Owners Association are being worked on and addressed as quickly and diligently as possible. 

BHC Enterprises is a local property maintenance company that we in the POA have teamed up with to help get the roads back into a service that everyone can enjoy and help prevent further decay and erosion.

Current Projects for Summer 2022

1. Mountain View Drive:  We are currently fixing two very serious traffic-impactful positions on the roadway that is parallel with the golf course's third-hole fairway that causes near collisions numerous times a day.  The road is decaying at a rapid pace due to the sediment build up opposite the golf-course. The water is unable to escape into the aging culverts do to clogging and damage.  Thus this causes the road to have standing water during the rainy times.  In this area there are three culverts;  Two of them are in disrepair and must be replaced.  One of them will be cleaned out and hopefully saved from replacement.  The sediment produced on the road side was marsh like and full of thousands of golf balls.  Many of them have been recovered are being cleaned and donated to the local high school team for their use.
2. Country Club Drive @ Cedar Drive:  This location is having much of the same damage on the roadway as the Mountain View Drive side due to clogged culverts.  
3. Timbercreek Heights:  This road has some of the same sediment build up over the years, but also has some concrete that has closed off many of the culvert's ability to drain causing massive decay that needs to be addressed.

We are still cutting grass and having normal monthly maintenance done during the repairs to our association boundaries.

Other areas are being assessed weekly as to the impact it's having on the POA Road District.
